Education	Dr. Kristin Scheele received her undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Iowa.
Specialties & Affiliations	Dr. Scheele holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is a member of the Tinnitus Practitioners Association.
More About Dr. Scheele	Kristin grew up in the small town of Brainard, Nebraska and recently moved to the Des Moines area. She and her husband, Kirk, have two cats and are excited to become parents in Spring 2012. When not treating patients, she enjoys taking walks and cooking with her husband. Other pastimes include sewing and playing the piano. "I feel that hearing and communication is one of the most important aspects of our lives and connections with others. I want to make sure that individuals are able to live their lives fully with optimal use of their hearing. Helen Keller once said 'vision connects you to things, but hearing connects you to people.' I think that is a moving and truthful statement."
