Education	Dr. Leslie A. Whippen, received her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida and her Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Audiology from Utah State University. She has been an audiologist for over 30 years.
Specialties & Affiliations	Specializing in the prescribing and fitting of hearing aids, she has been with Woodard Hearing Centers for more than 26 years. She was recognized in 2005 as the “Iowa Dispenser of the Year” by the Iowa Hearing Association. In addition, she just completed a 10 year term serving as one of two audiologists on the Iowa State Board of Licensure for Hearing Aid Dispensers. Dr. Whippen also made her contribution to the Iowa Hearing Association, serving as both Secretary and President during her tenure.
More About Dr. Whippen	A longtime resident of Des Moines, IA, Leslie was raised in New Jersey and enjoys summer vacations in Michigan. In her spare time, she enjoys the Cubs and playing games, particularly bridge, with family and friends.
